Safe, natural, and healthy products don't just happen. They come from a commitment to your family's health and safety and a deliberate, thoughtful selection of ingredients.
At Heritage Park, we work hard to source and use only the best, naturally derived, and sustainable ingredients in all our laundry products. Every ingredient goes through a review process to make sure that it meets our exacting standards.
All Heritage Park detergents are manufactured in an EPA registered facility. We take pride in the fact that our Fragrance Free detergents have been Dermatologist- and Pediatrician-tested. Additionally, our products have been certified by a third-party testing facility, AMA Laboratories, to be hypoallergenic, non-allergenic, as well as sensitization and allergy tested.
We are also proud that all of our laundry detergents are Leaping Bunny Approved. Leaping Bunny approval signifies that no animals are ever tested on or used in the development of our products or their ingredients. Additionally, our detergent manufacturing facility is Sedex certified, reflecting our commitment to responsible sourcing, supply chain transparency, and sustainable and responsible business practices.
We founded Heritage Park to solve our own problem. We believe fine linen is meant to be enjoyed; after all, our sister company is Fine Linen and Bath, a leading online retailer of luxury home textiles. And with proper care, bedding, towels and table linen will stay beautiful and perform well for years to come. But finding the right detergent to care for our linen was an ongoing challenge. Many of the grocery store brands contain harsh chemicals that will damage fine linen; when used on bedding and towels, these cleaning agents also inflame and irritate dry, sensitive skin. On the other end of the spectrum, the "gentle" brands often don't clean well or remove stains (remember, we use our fine linen all the time, and stains absolutely happen!)
So we took matters into our own hands and headed to the lab. After years of formulating and testing, we proudly introduced Heritage Park Luxury All-Purpose Detergent. Made with the perfect balance of natural and naturally derived ingredients, Heritage Park Luxury All-Purpose Detergent is neutral pH and does not contain sulfates, phosphates, chlorine bleach, or brighteners. It's the ultimate fine fabric wash to clean and preserve your laundered luxuries.
Obviously, we are not the only luxury laundry detergent in the market. But we wholeheartedly believe we're the best. That's why you'll find a complete listing of every single ingredient we use clearly listed on both our label and website. We also post our safety data sheet and independent third-party lab report for hypoallergenic testing right on our website.
We absolutely love our fine linens. But we love our families, pets, and Mother Earth even more. Along with being completely biodegradable, all Heritage Park Laundry Essentials detergents are grey water- and septic- safe; approved by pediatricians and dermatologists for sensitive skin (even babies!); and never tested on animals. We've even taken the extra step of becoming Leaping Bunny certified. This means we meet independent standards for being made entirely without animal testing through every phase of product development and manufacturing. We're super proud of this certification, which is why you'll see the Leaping Bunny logo on our bottles and website.
As we entered into the luxury laundry detergent business, we learned quite a bit, both in and out of the lab. As it turns out, quite a few brands in our market sell themselves as "artisanal," while, in fact, being owned by multinational corporations. This leads to lack of transparency as well as mass-marketing shortcuts and potentially inferior ingredients.
At Heritage Park, that is decidedly not our vibe. All of our products are made in small batches to our exact specifications, from individually sourced ingredients and with our personal oversight. We're a small company, headquartered in Branford, Connecticut (you can find us on the map!). And if you have a question, just drop an email or give us a call. You can even ask for Tom Ceconi, our CEO or Kendra Cosenza, our Brand Manager.
