An EWG-Verified and Safer Choice Certified Floral Scented Luxury Laundry Detergent That Cleans Without Compromise
It's laundry day, and you've got a decision to make. Do you choose a detergent that's effective at removing tough dirt, stains, and odors but loaded with harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and damaging ingredients that harm skin and fabrics? Or do you pick one of the so-called gentle detergents that are safe and natural but don't deliver the cleaning performance you need?
We think your laundry is no place to compromise. Welcome to the world of Heritage Park.
Clean, Safe, and Effective Non-Toxic Laundry Detergent
Our All-Purpose non toxic laundry detergent puts the age-old debate of clean laundry vs. gentle care forever to rest. The pH-neutral, plant-based formula is made with a short list of all-natural ingredients -- and completely free from the harsh chemicals that damage fabric and irritate skin. Instead, Heritage Park Sensitive Skin All-Purpose Shore Breeze cleans with a powerful proprietary blend of laundry enzymes that break down, release and remove stubborn stains to leave your laundry fresh, clean, and odor free. You can use it in any temperature; in regular and HE machines; and for everything from your family's clothing, towels, and bedding to luxury linens, delicates, and baby clothes.
Heritage Park Does it All: The Many Benefits of Our All-Purpose Eco Friendly Laundry Detergent
-
🌿
Safe, Natural Ingredients: Our laundry soap formula is made with a short list of naturally derived ingredients. No dyes, phosphates, sulfates, chlorine, bleach, or optical brighteners for safe, healthy cleaning and stain removal.
-
🧼
Effective on Dirt and Stains: Most stains are compounds of multiple substances (for example, a chocolate ice cream stain contains proteins, starches, sugars, and gums). The cleaning power of our targeted enzyme blend attacks and breaks down those individual stain components -- layer by layer -- to release and remove them, leaving your fabric clean and smelling fresh.
-
🔄
Multi-Use Formula: Use to wash clothing, home linen, delicates, and home textiles made of cotton, polyester, bamboo, wood fiber, synthetics, blends, and more*. Works in HE and Standard washing machine styles in hot, warm, cool, and cold water. Can also be used to hand-wash, to presoak, or to pretreat any tough stain.
-
👕
Won't Harm Fabric or Skin: This pH-neutral, eco-friendly detergent won't harm fabric or skin. Most commercial detergent contains harsh chemicals that make it too alkaline which irritates skin.
-
🌊
Relaxing Ocean Breeze Scent: Naturally infused with the scent of sun, surf, and sand, Shore Breeze soothes your mood but never overwhelms. The airy, clean ocean scent is reminiscent of a relaxing day at the beach.
-
♻️
Environmentally Friendly: Concentrated formula contains no excess water. Biodegradable and safe for greywater and septic systems. Easy refill pouches save money and plastic.
-
ℹ️
* Enzymatic laundry detergent or biological detergent formulas are not recommended for wool, cashmere, or other protein-based washable fabrics. For these, use our Silk and Wool Detergent.
Lightly Scented Shore Breeze Leaves Laundry Fresh
This subtle, airy fragrance brings a refreshing wave of calm with a clean, natural, beachy scent. Competitor information comes from each brand's product page, label, Safety Data Sheet and retailer listings, reviewed October 22 and 25, 2026. A ❌ means the brand does not make that claim in those sources.
1 MI / BIT preservative free: Methylisothiazolinone (MI) and benzisothiazolinone (BIT) are synthetic preservatives that can cause allergic contact dermatitis in some people. MI was named Allergen of the Year by the American Contact Dermatitis Society in 2013. Heritage Park contains neither. Tide and ALL list BIT.
2 No SLS / SLES: Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are common detergent surfactants that some people with sensitive skin find irritating. ALL Sensitive Fresh Spring Breeze and Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Fresh Scent list Sodium Laureth Sulfate in their retailer ingredient lists (checked October 25, 2026). Heritage Park contains neither.
3 pH-neutral: Heritage Park Sensitive Skin All-Purpose Shore Breeze has a pH of 7 to 7.5 on its Safety Data Sheet (April 2025). Arm & Hammer states that the Safety Data Sheet for its Sensitive Skin detergent shows a pH of 11.5 to 12.2. Tide and ALL do not publish a pH on their product pages.
4 Optical brightener free: Optical brighteners are dyes that stay on fabric to make whites look brighter. They do not clean, and some people with sensitive skin find them irritating. Arm & Hammer lists Disodium Distyrylbiphenyl Disulfonate on its ingredient list. Heritage Park contains none.
5 Propylene glycol free: Propylene glycol is a solvent used in some detergents. The American Contact Dermatitis Society named it Allergen of the Year in 2018. Tide Fresh & Gentle Coastal Oasis lists Propylene Glycol as a solvent in its retailer ingredient list. ALL Sensitive Fresh and Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin list none. Heritage Park contains none.
6 Dermatologist and pediatrician tested: Heritage Park Sensitive Skin All-Purpose Shore Breeze was tested in a human repeat insult patch test by Advanced Science Laboratories (2026) and classified as a non-dermal irritant and non-dermal sensitizer. ALL describes itself as the brand recommended by dermatologists, allergists and pediatricians. That is a recommendation claim, not a testing claim.
7 Soil removal: A higher score is better. Independent laboratory test project 26034A, report dated February 8, 2026. It used ASTM D4265-based methods on eight soils at 90°F with 120 ppm water and 60°F with 300 ppm water in a top-load washer. Scores are combined soil removal as a percentage of the best performer. The laboratory tested the fragrance-free versions of each brand's sensitive-skin detergent: Heritage Park Sensitive Skin All-Purpose Fragrance Free, Tide Free & Gentle, ALL Free & Clear The Original, and Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Free & Clear. The scented products in this table were not tested separately. The laboratory concluded the samples are comparable to each other overall.
8 Number of enzymes: Counted from each product's published ingredient list. Heritage Park uses protease, amylase, pectate lyase, mannanase and lipase.
9 EWG Verified: Grades are from EWG's Guide to Healthy Cleaning, checked October 22, 2026. Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Laundry Detergent, Fresh Scent, is rated C. EWG does not list ALL Sensitive Fresh or Tide Fresh & Gentle (introduced in September 2026). EWG Verified is a separate certification that a product must apply for and meet.
10 EPA Safer Choice: Checked on EPA's Safer Choice product search on October 25, 2026 (EPA's list was last updated October 20, 2026). Tide Fresh & Gentle, introduced in September 2026, was not listed. Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin plus Skin-Friendly Fresh Scent was not listed. The Arm & Hammer laundry detergents that are listed are Baby, Clean & Simple Baby and Clean & Simple.
11 Made in USA: Heritage Park is made in the USA with domestic and imported ingredients. Tide's retailer listing gives its origin as "Made in the USA or Imported". The ALL and Arm & Hammer retailer listings state no country of origin. Checked October 22, 2026.
12 Leaping Bunny: Leaping Bunny certification applies to the company as a whole, not to individual products. Heritage Park Laundry Essentials LLC is a Leaping Bunny certified brand.
What Sets Heritage Park Detergent Apart
Heritage Park holds both EWG Verified and EPA Safer Choice certification at the same time, and it is the only brand in this table that does. EWG Verified screens every ingredient for health concerns and requires full ingredient transparency. EPA Safer Choice reviews every ingredient for human health and environmental safety. So you don't have to take any brand's word for it, or decode an ingredient list yourself, to know this detergent has been independently vetted for your family and for the planet. The pH-neutral formula and independent skin testing show how it was built. The certifications show it was checked by someone other than us.
Why Our Concentrated Luxury Liquid Laundry Detergent is Your Best Choice
We realize you have many options in choosing the best laundry detergent type for your family: natural laundry detergent pods, laundry sheets, classic powdered detergent, and even old-fashioned washing soda and bar laundry soap. But our concentrated liquid detergent formula is the very best choice you can make for your laundry, your family, and the environment. We use only a short list of natural ingredients and make our detergent in small batches for the ultimate quality control. A concentrated laundry soap formula means less water (most commercial detergents are primarily water) and less plastic packaging (smaller bottles). You can also reuse your bottle with our eco-friendly refill packs. Unlike pre-measured laundry pods or messy powder detergent, our easy-to-use measuring cap gives you total control over the amount of detergent you use. It's total cleaning power with zero waste!
What Does EWG-Verified Mean?
The EWG Verified badge is a certification awarded by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) to products that meet their strictest standards for health and transparency. It indicates that our products are free of chemicals of concern and meet their high standards for ingredient disclosure and formulation. EWG-Verified is awarded to only the top 2.5 percent of products.
What Does EPA Safer Choice Certified Mean?
The EPA Safer Choice label means that every ingredient in this product, regardless of its concentration, has been reviewed against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's stringent standards for human health and environmental safety. Safer Choice-certified products must also meet requirements for cleaning performance, ingredient disclosure, pH, and packaging. This helps you choose an effective detergent made with safer chemical ingredients for your family and the environment.
