Babies and toddlers get super messy! And parents and caregivers need a detergent that cleans effectively while tackling all those tough stains. But harsh detergents can irritate and inflame a baby's delicate skin, while "gentle" or "baby" detergent formulas often fail to get the job done.
At Heritage Park, we're parents, and we've been there. So we headed to the lab and developed our Baby and Toddler Laundry Detergent, a hypoallergenic, pH-neutral, baby-safe laundry detergent for use on clothing, bedding, and toys. Most importantly, it's free from any harsh chemicals or cleaning agents that can irritate a baby's sensitive skin in traditional laundry detergent. Instead, we've made it with our proprietary enzyme blend to effectively clean even the dirtiest baby laundry and tackle the toughest stains (food, biological, and diaper residue).
Hypoallergenic Detergent, Pediatrician and Dermatologist Tested
Any parent will tell you: baby and toddler skin is prone to irritation, allergies, and eczema. All of these conditions can be worsened by the chemicals and harsh cleaning agents in traditional stain-fighting detergents. Our pH-neutral laundry detergent is made to minimize skin irritation with gentle, plant-powered ingredients that are safe and non-irritating to babies and toddlers. Parents can feel great about using Heritage Park liquid detergent. Our formula contains no harsh chemicals: it's made without sulfates, phosphates, chlorine, bleach, optical brighteners, synthetic fragrance, or dye. Safe for even newborn skin!
Powerful Five-Enzyme Formula
Most baby laundry detergents contain just one or two enzymes, which are special proteins that break up stains and remove the smell from laundry. Heritage Park Baby and Toddler Laundry Detergent contain a broad-spectrum, proprietary five-enzyme blend to target the toughest stains (think: the dirtiest cloth diapers or burp cloths) while being safe for baby clothes, bedding, soft toys, and more. It's the ultimate clean you just won't get from any regular detergent, laundry soap, or homemade detergent.
Less is More
Store-brand laundry products are a chemical cocktail of harsh ingredients that are nearly impossible to pronounce. If like us, you're looking to "green" your home and improve your family's health, these are to be avoided! We're proud to say our baby-safe laundry detergent contains only nine gentle ingredients. Using our greener detergent with safer ingredients means less chemical exposure for your little one…and you. And even though it's unscented, our baby detergent smells naturally "clean," removes smells, and leaves baby's clothes stain-free and soft. No need to use fabric softener or dryer sheets! (These should be avoided in general, as they can leave a waxy build-up on machines and clothing, which reduces the flame-retardant property of baby and toddler pajama fabric).
Ultra-Concentrated Formula
Regular liquid laundry detergent contains water and other fillers, while powder detergent and detergent pods don't always dissolve, which can leave a residue. And even "gentle" baby detergents contain heavy scent and other additives. You'll find none of that in Heritage Park Baby and Toddler Detergent! Our ultra-concentrated formula contains no fillers, dyes, extra water, or artificial fragrance. You need only 2 oz. per washing machine load; the easy-to-use bottle comes with a helpful measuring cap so there's never any waste. Our detergent is biodegradable and greywater- and septic-safe. You can also use it to pre-treat or soak stubborn stains.
